- Location data: Your precise GPS location, collected only when I'm Open mode is active

- Provide and operate the core features of Nowsy
- Show your profile to nearby users when I'm Open mode is active

4. Location Data
Location is the core of Nowsy's functionality, and we treat it with the utmost care:
- Your precise location is only shared with other users while I'm Open mode is active
- When I'm Open is disabled, your location is immediately removed from the map
- Location history is not stored beyond your active session window (1–4 hours)
- We never share your exact GPS coordinates — only approximate proximity is shown to other users
5. Data Sharing
We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Other users: Profile information (name, photos, bio, approximate distance) is visible to nearby users when I'm Open is active
- Service providers: We use trusted third-party services (hosting, push notifications, analytics) that process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect safety
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred with appropriate protections

- Account data: Retained until you delete your account
- Messages: Retained as long as both users are matched; deleted when a match ends
- Location data: Not retained beyond your active I'm Open session
